- His grandfather, a professor of languages and translator, was one of the first European converts to the church due to the efforts of J.N. Andrews in Switzerland
- His father, Paul Louis, migrated to England while young and married Annie Marie Armstrong
- He married Gertrude Mary McMillan in Watford, Hertfordshire, England and had one son, Paul Raoul
Highlights & Accomplishments
- Well-known as a physician and dentist in London
- Worked as a dental surgeon for Hampstead General Outpatients Department
- Served as an advisor for the Good Health Association, a group of Adventist medical institutions in Great Britain
- One of his articles entitled, “Fighting Against Death” was featured in a commemorative magazine published in Britain titled This Century of Wonders
- Regularly contributed to Advent Review and Sabbath Herald (later Review and Herald) around 1930s and early 1940s by authoring several articles and poems
- Also wrote practical articles on health which appeared in Life and Health magazine
