I’m so thankful that Hymns for Worship has continued to help you in many ways regarding your personal and corporate worship services!
Thanks so much also for your emails and for reaching out to me with kinds words of encouragement.
That being said, I have some bad news regarding the website — Recently, it has come to my attention that the hymn audio player in the Hymns for Worship website is not working anymore. Many people have been requesting and asking when it will be fixed.
Unfortunately, the plugin has become obsolete and I need to find another way to make it available to people. After researching about what options I have, I have come to the decision to transfer all audios to Youtube instead and include the lyrics so it can be flashed on screen for worship use.
I see the big need for it, basing also on the volume of inquiries from people in different parts of the world. I understand that this is a big task since it means each song will be turned into a video (like the one you see below), and takes quite a lot of time to do. So I have enlisted the help of someone who knows video editing. However, his service is not free.
I’d like to continue offering this feature as a free service for anyone who needs it. But I think it won’t be fair to demand a free service from the video editor. We calculated the cost, and he’s willing to do the whole project at $1370 (all 695 hymns in total, which is around $2 per video).
I personally do not have this money since I myself am a missionary here in the Philippines. But if this is a project you’re interested in helping with, you can channel your donation by filling the 100% secure form on the right.
You may also purchase your personal copies of the audios if that’s what you prefer. For that option, you may purchase your copies here.
